ITINERARY

DAY 1 | FRIDAY 26 JUNE 2026

1ST OF 4 NIGHTS AT THE DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ROME MONTI

ARRIVE ROME (D):

Guests arrive at our hotel in Rome.

Arrive at our hotel, the DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti, which is within easy access to local attractions, shops and cafés. Hotel check-in is at 2:00pm and we recommend arriving at the hotel at this time.

In the early evening we gather to enjoy dinner with the Family and Friends tour group. The rest of the evening is free to rest and relax.

DAY 2 | SATURDAY 27 JUNE 2026

2ND OF 4 NIGHTS AT THE DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ROME MONTI

ROME (B):

In the morning, we see some of the highlights of Rome on a private walking tour. The tour will include seeing the spectacular Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, a former Roman temple and now a church, and the baroque Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful and most popular squares in Rome.

The afternoon and evening are free to further explore Rome. You might like to wander through its charming piazzas, visit a museum, or simply enjoy an aperitivo in a local café.

DAY 3 | SUNDAY 28 JUNE 2026

3RD OF 4 NIGHTS AT THE DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ROME MONTI

ROME (B):

This morning we enjoy a private guided tour of the Colosseum, the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built and one of the most recognisable landmarks of the Eternal City.

The afternoon is free to rest or to further explore Rome. You might like to wander through the Roman Forum, once the heart of political and social life in ancient Rome. Another option is to climb the Capitoline Hill, one of the city’s seven hills, offering beautiful views across the Forum and beyond.

In the evening, we travel by private coach to attend Mass at Domus Australia in where St Mary's Cathedral Choir will sing. The Mass will take place in the beautifully restored chapel, which features paintings by award-winning Sydney artist Paul Newton, including his acclaimed Our Lady of the Southern Cross, originally created for World Youth Day in Sydney and now hanging in St Mary’s Cathedral.

DAY 4 | MONDAY 29 JUNE 2026

4TH OF 4 NIGHTS AT THE DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ROME MONTI

ROME (B, D):

This morning, we travel by private coach to the Vatican where we will attend the Mass for the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul at St Peter’s Basilica where St Mary's Cathedral Choir will sing.

Following the Mass, we visit the Vatican Museums. Established by Pope Julius II during the 16th-century, they are visited by over 6 million visitors each year and house thousands of important works of art. The visit includes seeing the magnificent Sistine Chapel, one of the greatest treasures of Rome.

In the evening, we gather with the Family and Friends tour group to enjoy a traditional Italian dinner for our final night in Rome.

DAY 5 | TUESDAY 30 JUNE 2026

1ST OF 2 NIGHTS AT MARKET STREET HOTEL, EDINBURGH

ROME-EDINBURGH (B):

In the morning, we travel by private coach to Rome Ciampino Airport and fly to Edinburgh. On arrival, we will travel by private coach and check in to the centrally located 4-star Market Street Hotel.

The evening is free to start your exploration of Edinburgh. You might like to wander down the Royal Mile, which is lined with one of the highest concentrations of listed buildings in the world.

DAY 6 | WEDNESDAY 1 JULY 2026

2ND OF 2 NIGHTS AT MARKET STREET HOTEL, EDINBURGH

EDINBURGH (B, D):

This morning, we travel by private coach to attend Mass at St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, Edinburgh, where St Mary’s Cathedral Choir will sing. The Mass will take place in this magnificent neo-Gothic building, renowned for its striking spire, beautiful stained-glass windows, and rich musical tradition.

In the afternoon we have a private guided tour of Edinburgh Castle. Perched dramatically atop Castle Rock, the fortress has dominated the city’s skyline for centuries. Within its walls we will discover stories of royalty, battles, and treasures, including the Honours of Scotland, the Stone of Destiny, and St Margaret’s Chapel.

In the evening, we have dinner with the Family and Friends tour group before attending St Mary's Cathedral Choir’s concert at St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, Edinburgh.

DAY 7 | THURSDAY 2 JULY 2026

1ST OF 3 NIGHTS AT THE WALDORF HILTON, LONDON

EDINBURGH-LONDON (B, D):

In the morning, we travel by train from Edinburgh to London (the train journey takes approximately 4.5 hours). On arrival, we travel by private coach and check into the 4-star Waldorf Hilton, London, which is wonderfully situated in the heart of London’s famous theatre district, a 5-minute walk to the Royal Opera House and a 2-minute walk to The Courtauld Gallery in Somerset House.

This evening, we gather with the Family and Friends tour group to enjoy a delicious dinner in London.

DAY 8 | FRIDAY 3 JULY 2026

2ND OF 3 NIGHTS AT THE WALDORF HILTON, LONDON

LONDON (B):

The morning is free to explore London. You could walk to Trafalgar Square to visit the fabulous National Gallery, or call in to the architectural jewel that is the church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. The Strand with its shops and cafes is only a few minutes’ stroll away.

In the afternoon we travel by private coach to attend a joint concert with St Mary's Cathedral Choir and The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School at the Parish of Our Lady of Victories, Kensington.

The evening is free to rest or further explore London.

DAY 9 | SATURDAY 4 JULY 2026

3RD OF 3 NIGHTS AT THE WALDORF HILTON, LONDON

DAY TRIP TO CAMBRIDGE (B, D):

This morning, we travel by private coach to Cambridge.

On arrival, we experience a punting trip on the River Cam, with views of the Backs and waterways of Cambridge. This is followed by a walking tour of Cambridge with its ancient colleges, chapels and pathways.

In the early evening, we attend St Mary's Cathedral Choir’s concert at The Church of Our Lady of The Assumption and The English Martyrs. Following the concert, we enjoy a farewell dinner with the Family and Friends tour group before we return by private coach to London.

DAY 10 | SUNDAY 5 JULY 2026

LONDON, TOUR ENDS (B):

In the morning, we attend Mass at Westminster Cathedral where St Mary's Cathedral Choir will sing.

Following the Mass we travel by private coach to the hotel, and the tour concludes.
