1ST OF 4 NIGHTS AT DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ROME MONTI
ARRIVE ROME & DINNER (D):
Guests arrive at DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti, a 4-star hotel located in the Rome Monti neighbourhood, a 5-minute walk from Roma Termini and less than a 20-minute walk from the majority of major landmarks in Rome including The Colosseum and The Trevi Fountain. Hotel check-in is at 2:00pm and we recommend arriving at the hotel at this time.
In the evening we gather to enjoy a delicious welcome dinner with the Family and Friends tour group.
2ND OF 4 NIGHTS AT DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ROME MONTI
GUIDED TOUR OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF ROME (B):
This morning, we see some of the highlights of Rome on a private walking tour. The tour will include seeing the spectacular Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, a former Roman temple and now a church, and the baroque Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful and most popular squares in Rome.
The afternoon and evening are free to further explore Rome. You might like to wander through its charming piazzas, visit a museum, or simply enjoy an aperitivo in a local café.
3RD OF 4 NIGHTS AT DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ROME MONTI
GUIDED TOUR OF THE COLOSSEUM & MASS AT DOMUS AUSTRALIA (B):
This morning we enjoy a private guided tour of The Colosseum, the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built and one of the most recognisable landmarks of the Eternal City.
The afternoon is free to rest or to continue exploring Rome. You might like to wander through the Roman Forum, once the heart of political and social life in ancient Rome, or climb the Capitoline Hill, one of the city’s seven hills, offering beautiful views across the Forum and beyond.
In the evening, we travel by private coach to attend Mass at Domus Australia in which St Mary's Cathedral Choir will sing. The Mass will take place in the beautifully restored St Peter Chanel Chapel, which features paintings by award-winning Sydney artist Paul Newton. Newton created the acclaimed Our Lady of the Southern Cross for World Youth Day in Sydney (which hangs in St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney) and has completed a new interpretation of Our Lady for St Peter Chanel Chapel.
4TH OF 4 NIGHTS AT DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ROME MONTI
ATTEND MASS AT ST PETER’S BASILICA, GUIDED TOUR OF VATICAN MUSEUMS & DINNER (B, D):
This morning we travel by private coach to The Vatican where we attend the Mass for the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul at St Peter’s Basilica, in which St Mary's Cathedral Choir will sing.
Following Mass, we have a guided tour of the Vatican Museums. Established by Pope Julius II during the 16th-century, they are visited by over 6 million visitors each year and house thousands of important works of art. The visit includes seeing the magnificent Sistine Chapel, one of the greatest treasures of Rome.
In the evening, we gather with the Family and Friends tour group to enjoy a traditional Italian dinner to celebrate our final night in Rome.

TRAVEL ROME TO EDINBURGH (B):
This morning we travel by private coach to Rome Ciampino Airport. We then travel with St Mary’s Cathedral Choir on the following flight:

After settling into the hotel, the evening is free to begin your exploration of Edinburgh. You may enjoy exploring the Royal Mile, which is lined with one of the highest concentrations of listed buildings in the world.
2ND OF 2 NIGHTS AT MARKET STREET HOTEL, EDINBURGH
ATTEND MASS AT ST MARY’S CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL, GUIDED TOUR OF EDINBURGH CASTLE & ATTEND ST MARY’S CATHEDRAL CHOIR’S CONCERT (B, D):
This morning we attend Mass at St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, Edinburgh, in which St Mary’s Cathedral Choir will sing. St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral is a magnificent neo-Gothic building, renowned for its striking spire, beautiful stained-glass windows, and rich musical tradition.
In the afternoon we have a private guided tour of Edinburgh Castle. Perched dramatically atop Castle Rock, the fortress has dominated the city’s skyline for centuries. Within its walls we will discover stories of royalty, battles, and treasures, including the Honours of Scotland, the Stone of Destiny, and St Margaret’s Chapel.
In the evening, we have dinner with the Family and Friends tour group before attending St Mary's Cathedral Choir’s concert at St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, Edinburgh.
1ST OF 3 NIGHTS AT THE WALDORF HILTON, LONDON
TRAVEL EDINBURGH TO LONDON & DINNER (B, D):
This morning we depart Edinburgh and travel with St Mary’s Cathedral Choir by train to London. The journey takes approximately 4.5 hours.
On arrival we travel by private coach to the 4-star, Waldorf Hilton London. Built in 1908 and one of the longest standing venues on Aldwych, the hotel blends Edwardian grandeur with friendly modern comfort. It is wonderfully situated in the heart of London’s famous theatre district, a 5-minute walk to Covent Garden or to Waterloo Bridge, to enjoy a scenic stroll across the Thames, and a 15-minute walk down the Strand to Trafalgar Square.
This evening, we gather with the Family and Friends tour group to celebrate our first evening in London.
2ND OF 3 NIGHTS AT THE WALDORF HILTON, LONDON
ATTEND ST MARY’S CATHEDRAL CHOIR’S CONCERT (B):
The morning is free to explore London. You could walk to Trafalgar Square to visit the fabulous National Gallery, or call in to the architectural jewel that is the church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. The Strand with its shops and cafes is only a few minutes’ stroll away.
In the afternoon we travel by private coach to attend a joint concert with St Mary's Cathedral Choir and The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School at the Parish of Our Lady of Victories, Kensington.
Following the concert, the evening is free to rest or further explore London.
3RD OF 3 NIGHTS AT THE WALDORF HILTON, LONDON
DAY TRIP TO EXPLORE CAMBRIDGE & ATTEND ST MARY’S CATHEDRAL CHOIR’S CONCERT (B, D):
This morning, we travel by private coach to Cambridge.
On arrival, we experience a punting trip on the River Cam, with views of the Backs and waterways of Cambridge. This is followed by a walking tour of Cambridge with its ancient colleges, chapels and pathways.
In the early evening, we attend St Mary's Cathedral Choir’s concert at The Church of Our Lady of The Assumption and The English Martyrs. Following the concert, we enjoy a farewell dinner with the Family and Friends tour group before we return by private coach to London.
ATTEND MASS AT WESTMINSTER CATHEDRAL & TOUR ENDS (B):
In the morning, we attend Mass at Westminster Cathedral in which St Mary's Cathedral Choir will sing.
Following Mass we travel by private coach to the hotel, and the tour concludes.

This tour will operate with a minimum of 20 people. As the flight from Rome to Edinburgh must be paid in full and non-refundable hotel deposits paid, a minimum of 20 participants must be booked on the tour by 29 October 2025. Should this minimum not be reached, all deposit payments will be fully refunded.
All members of the tour must have the ability to:
undertake walking tours of two-three hours duration, including using stairs and walking on uneven ground;
stand for long periods in museum, art galleries etc;
climb staircases of 100 or more steps;
embark / disembark coaches, trains and other methods of transportation without assistance.
